Founders, Why Are you Not Creating Content?

Founders, Why Are you Not Creating Content?

Life is in constant change. I remember when the internet was a slowwww dial up access the information highway. Now, fiber optic is the fastest way to connect to the internet. At least for now.

If you were accustomed to sending weekly emails to your clients 15-years ago, heck even a few years ago it’s probably not moving the needle in marketing and sales. So how do you adapt?

Content Creation is the Best Marketing Tool

As you know, creating content is nothing new. Content creation used to be reserved for influencers and content creators showing off their OOTD’s and what’s in their fridge.

As a business owner you can now use content to drive sales and visibility to your company and brand. Just because you create content doesn’t mean you’re automatically an influencer, it just means you understand the dynamics of where we are in the world right now. By creating content you control the narrative of your business, while your clients learn more about you. You have the opportunity to build a community with your clients that doesn’t just generate revenue it also builds loyalty.

Content is still king. The how, why, and where behind the type of content you create really depends on you and your business goals.

As the founder of Too AMBITIOUS, the best platforms for me are LinkedIn, Substack, and Threads. You have to determine which platform aligns with your business now and in the future. Here’s my quick breakdown of the platforms.

LinkedIn: professional networking platform. You can find all the Fortune 500 business leaders and decision makers there. No brainer.

YouTube: A global platform to share your journey and expertise via long and short form content.

Facebook & Instagram: Great for visual storytelling via reels and carousels. If you have a physical product to sell these are the perfect platforms.

Substack & Threads: The ultimate community building platforms and a great way to get the word out about your business and You!

Tik Tok: The wild wild west of platforms. Great for sharing your thought leadership and selling Live products.

Of course, there are other ways ( podcast, newsletter ) you can put yourself out there but if you’re a founder these are your go-to’s. You don’t have to be on all them. One to two to start.

Real talk. If you’re a Founder and you’re not creating content in a meaningful way on social media, you simply do not exist.

Everyone literally has the world in the palm of their hand. AI is not going anywhere. People want to connect with humans that get their struggles and those who can help them achieve their own success.

One of the hardest parts of life is accepting that change has happened. The second hardest part is actually taking action.

Oh, btw my Mom and Dad aka Stepdad are still happily married! Change was good.
